The purpose of this transmittal is to advise that this chapter is currently being rewritten to meet changes in Federal directives and guidance for developing Risk Management Programs. We have temporarily rescinded this chapter to avoid any misinterpretation or implementation of guidance no longer in effect. If you have already begun drafting a Risk Management Plan for your area using the guidance from this chapter, you may have policy that is not in compliance with the NIH Risk Management requirements.
