Code of Federal Regulations
A codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the Executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government.

Federal Register
The official daily publication for Rules, Proposed Rules, and Notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as Executive Orders and other Presidential Documents.

Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Established to codify uniform policies for acquisition of supplies and services by executive agencies. Please see the FAR Virtual Library for additional access to FAR resources and links.

General Records Schedules (GRS)
Issued by the Archivist of the U.S. to provide disposal authorization for temporary records common to several or all agencies of the Federal Government.

Office of Management and Budget (OMB)
Assists the President in overseeing the preparation of the Federal budget and to supervise its administration in Executive Branch agencies. Contains access to the OMB Circulars and Bulletins.

Privacy Act Issuances
Descriptions of Federal agency systems of records maintained on individuals and rules agencies follow to assist individuals who request information about their records.

U.S. Government Manual
The official handbook of the Federal Government, providing comprehensive information on the agencies of the legislative, judicial, and executive branches.

U.S. GPO Superintendent of Documents
Provides free or low-cost access to information published by the U.S. Congress, Federal agencies and the Federal courts.

Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
The NIH is one of eight health agencies of the Public Health Service which, in turn, is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Program Support Center (PSC)
An operating division (OPDIV) within HHS. Maintains copies of HHS issuances and updates for electronic storage and on-demand distribution.
