Outcomes Assessment Workgroup Determining relevant essential criteria Stages of Change measures
Preliminary discussions started at the January 25-26th BCC meeting. Guidelines were selected as a starting point, since they reflect US Dietary Guidelines and are tangible across most of the research projects with dietary component. Since food is basically a continuous variable, the thought is to make the criteria more reflective of change in servings consumed per day for fruits and vegetables. There will be a follow up conference call on this topic for members of BCC Nutrition Working Group and the Transbehavioral Outcomes Assessment Working Group. Interest expressed in bringing in a nutrition measurement expert to collaborate on this
effort. |

statistican will be needed to collaborate across sites in this effort. Recommendations are
welcome for a possible candidate. |
| 7. | Next conference call will be held sometime in late February or early March. Item # 5 and 6 will be the primary items for discussion. |
